Saudi Arabia's car theft charges are on the rise

According to the Department of Traffic, most people leave the vehicle in a start-up position and are easily blown away by the thieves on the spot.

Riyadh:
Saudi Arabia has witnessed an increase in car theft cases. In this regard, the Saudi Department of Traffic says that the main reason for the increase in car theft cases is that most people are parked on the off-road car in the state of irresponsibility. People in the hunt for opportunity steal the car.
However, in accordance with traffic rules, leaving a vehicle in a start position is a traffic violation, which carries a fine of 100 to 150 Saudi riyals. The interesting thing is that if a person steals a locked and locked engine, he is severely punished. However, if a person steals a start-up vehicle, he does not face a more severe punishment.
Because leaving the vehicle in the start position is the owner's fault, which motivates the thief to perform the accident. According to the Department of Traffic, most people leave their cars in the state during the summer because the car's engine shut off also eliminates AC cooling. But their thinking is wrong because within a few minutes of starting the vehicle, the car has good cooling, so it should be avoided.
Authorities have also started imposing a fine of 150 rials on violators to stop the increasing incidents of start-up vehicle theft. Be aware that if a person leaves the vehicle in a start-up state and the vehicle is stolen, then the insurance company does not pay.
