Doha's diplomatic relations with its neighboring countries Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have long been strained. Due to diplomatic tensions, the export of UAE goods was banned by Qatar some time ago. In response to this, the United Arab Emirates filed a lawsuit in the World Trade Organization calling the move banned by the Qatari government illegal.
The matter was discussed today in a session of the World Trade Organization Dispute Resolution Committee (DSB). However, Qatar announced on the occasion that it had in the past withdrew its decision to ban export of UAE goods, after which there was no barrier to export of UAE goods to Qatar. Will

After the ban is lifted, the export and import of goods and other commodities between Qatar and the UAE will be restored.
