Not intended to play 'Game of Thrones' with US: China

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi cautioned the US over criticism of US President Donald Trump's trade and development model, saying Beijing does not intend to play 'Game of Thrones' with the United States on a global scale. ۔

Speaking at a ceremony organized by the United States China Business Council on Tuesday, the Chinese Foreign Minister said that China would not bend its risks, including the risks to its trade.

He said the trade war was causing unnecessary harm to the US and China. This is increasing costs for US companies and increasing prices for consumers.

Wang Yi further said that high-level dialogue between China and the United States could produce positive results next month.

Earlier on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump addressed China's economic policies while addressing a UN General Assembly session.

He said the United States would no longer tolerate Beijing's trade rules and would not want it to have an unfair trade agreement with China.
