According to the Interior Ministry, the purpose of the scheme was to help prisoners who are being imprisoned due to fines or non-payment of debts, and not involved in any serious or criminal case.
Both local and foreign prisoners can benefit from this scheme. Special bank accounts have been issued by the government for depositing money into the free release scheme, in which anyone can deposit as much as they want. Is. One of the features of this scheme is that any donor, either by selecting a particular prisoner, also deposits money in a specific account for it or sends money to a common account. When a prisoner owes the dues, then he is fined and released. The goodwill is being participated by the Saudi people. Their human friendliness and compassionate heart are known.
